What is Kyōdō?
Kyōdō (共同) means collaboration—a concept deeply rooted in Japanese culture and central to our professional philosophy. Pronounced “Kyoh-doh”, it embodies the values of unity, mutual respect, and collective effort.
Our Inspiration
Our founder, Ted Lango, embraced these principles while supporting contact center and WFM teams across Japan. Inspired by the results that come from aligned, cross-functional teams working in harmony, he built Kyōdō Solutions to bring that same collaborative model to workforce transformation in the U.S. and beyond.

Ted has led major initiatives at Fortune 500 companies, including MetLife and Comcast, where he oversaw global contact center operations, developed risk-assessed capacity planning models, and implemented innovative strategies to balance cost control with service excellence. His approach combines strategic insight with tactical execution, delivering scalable results across diverse industries.
